"When
my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up." (Ps. 27:10)

T hese
little ones above did not do anything; they are victims of the seven years civil
war that devastated Liberia. They do not have access to medical care, safe
drinking water, school, etc. The Epistle of James is one of the most practical
books in the New Testament, because it offers instruction and exhortation to
Christians who are experiencing problems as we all do. Yes, “Pure and
undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and
widows in their trouble, and to keep one-self unspotted from the world.”, James
1:27. Christ's Victory International Mission (CVIM) of Liberia has
discovered more than 400
orphans within the eight Churches in Liberia. We are housing 35
precious kids right now. Our ultimate aspiration is to rebuild the lives of
these precious children and give them hope by loving, feeding, schooling,
healing, evangelizing and winning their souls to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are
believing God to provide the necessary resources so we can start building
orphanages, schools, medical clinics, Bible College, vocational and technical
schools, churches, libraries, and training centers that will expose them to the
real world. We really need your fervent prayer for the kids.
New Orphanage Building--Since
1998, Christ's Victory International has been leasing three buildings in
Monrovia. The buildings are used
for church services, school, and orphanage, respectively. In 2001, the
Lord blessed us with some funds and purchased 15 acres of land on the outskirts of Monrovia, the
capital city of Liberia. We are excited about what the Lord is doing for
His people. The orphanage building is about 95% complete. The
building covers 4700 square feet; and will accommodate 40 kids upon
completion. Our next project will be the vocational and technical schools.
Please pray for more resources to complete the building this year.
Church Planting is one of our primary
objectives. Since 1998 we have planted eight churches in several villages
in three counties respectively. We have also established two schools in
Monrovia and River Cess County. The villagers do not have access to running
water, electricity, health facility, communication, and
transportation.
Our goals are to provide schools,
clinics, worship centers, and a hand water pump for every village where we plant
a church. If you know anyone who can help us in these areas, please do not
hesitate to contact us immediately. Your help is welcome and appreciated.
